The Gallery

Welcome to our other wands

This is our gallery, a place to view more of our wands. These include the first wand made, and our most advanced wand, but all have been claimed, sold, or otherwise aren't for sale. We have posted them to inspire your own wand ideas, and encourage discussions and commissions.

The Bat Wand

Made from spalted beech. About 17 inches long. Finished with oil, and ink (Sharpie).

This wand was made for a Vampire LARP character. Bats were requested, and this was the first attempt.

The Cracked Wand

Made from spalted leylandii. About 14 inches long. Finished with oil.

The cracks are a part of the natural state of the wood, and there is a particularly interesting figuring in the spalting.

The Dragon Wand

Made from birch. About 18 inches long. Uses acrylic paint, and finished with clear varnish.

This wand was created to look like a dragon. The scales are carved, the colours were chosen specifically, and it can even turn on and light up in the dark.

The Fishbone Wand

Made from spalted leylandii. About 16 inches long. Finished with oil.

1/3

The First Wand

Made from teak. About 15 inches long. Finished with oil.

This was the first wand made. The carvings on the hilt are the first experimental doodles, and the colour has not been altered.

"This is the wand to show where I started, and shows how far I've come." - The Creator.

The Flame Wand

Made from spalted beech. About 15 inches long. This wand was stained, uses acrylics, and finished with oil.

The end plate, and flame detail on the handle, glow in the dark.

1/3

The Ivy Wand

Made from cherry. About 17 inches long. Using acrylics, it is finished with clear varnish.

This wand is named after its leaf design on the hilt. The wand has green leaves, to make them stand out, but also a glow in the dark end.

Marked with the Whittaker's Wands' W.

The Rainbow Wand i

Made from laurel. About 12 inches long. Stained and finished with oil.

This was the first ‘Crimson Guitar stained’ wand, and the first attempt at a Rainbow colour.

The Stealth Wand

Made from oak. About 12 inches long. Finished with oil and electric green embellishment wax.

This wand uses black stain and has four bands carved into the wood. These are highlighted with green glow in the dark. (A better picture of this coming soon). This encouraged the added finish of electric green embellishment wax.

The Sunburst Wand

Made from oak. About 12 inches long. Stained, oiled, and finished with gold lustre wax.

This wand's hilt is a very large ball.

1/3

The Tiger Wand

Made from leylandii. About 14 inches long. Stained, and finished with oil.

This wand is coloured to resemble an ancient picture of a tiger, not to be confused with modern pictures of tigers.

1/3

The Unicorn Wand

Made from cherry. About 14 inches long. Uses acrylic paint, and is finished with oil.

This wand is textured along the neck, but is almost perfectly smooth in the hand. The colour mimics unicorn hair, and seems to change as you move the wand.

The Watered Wand

Made from cherry. About 15 inches long. Stained, and finished with oil.

The handle originally had a different stain, but that didn't satisfy. Once sanded off, and the colour was removed, a second attempt created this result.
